When I decided I wanted to go teach in Korea, I scoured the intertubes for blogs describing the application process from concept to successful completion of a contract... and came up dry. There are some fantastic blogs out there about all the experiences of teachers once they've arrived in Korea, but maybe my google skills were lacking - I couldn't find answers to a lot of my questions.
Then I decided to push it even further, and do a PGCE. Again, lots of blogs but most were not quite what I was looking for. So I decided to fill the gap, as well as creating a chronicle and a space for me to reflect on things that happened throughout this epic adventure.
I'm a young South African English teacher with a serious case of wanderlust and a healthy Korea obsession.
And that's about it, really.
Apparently Koreans think this pose makes you look more attractive in photographs. |
